Each dish is prepared with attention to freshness and balance, creating meals that feel indulgent while staying true to a vegetarian lifestyle.

A Menu That Celebrates Variety and Comfort

One of the defining traits of Veggie Castle II is its wide range of offerings. The menu reads like a tour through comfort food, Caribbean influence, and classic takeout staples, all reimagined without meat.

Mac and Cheese holds a special place for many guests. Often described as rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying, the vegan mac and cheese is frequently called a favorite. Variations pair it with vegetable lo mein, rice, or barbecue style drumsticks made entirely from plant based ingredients. These combinations create full meals that feel familiar yet fresh.

Oyster mushroom dishes also stand out. The oyster mushroom burger and the PO' Boy oyster mushroom sandwich deliver texture and depth, offering a savory bite that rivals traditional versions. Chopped cheese, vegan chicken wraps with avocado, and jerk chicken sandwiches show how the kitchen transforms well known dishes into vegetarian successes.

Caribbean inspired plates like rasta pasta, couscous, okra, sautéed string beans, and chicken and collard greens bring warmth and spice to the table. Even classics like chow mein and fish patties receive a thoughtful vegetarian twist that keeps flavor front and center.

Fresh Drinks and Desserts That Complete the Experience

Veggie Castle II is known not only for its savory dishes but also for its drinks and desserts. Smoothies and fresh juices are popular choices, often paired with meals or enjoyed on their own. Fruit moss drinks are a highlight, valued for both taste and nourishment.

Desserts add another layer of comfort. Cakes, pastries, and sweet treats offer a satisfying finish and make the restaurant a go to spot for celebrations or casual indulgence. These options reflect the same care found in the main dishes, reinforcing the idea that vegetarian food can be both wholesome and joyful.

Great Service and a Welcoming Atmosphere

If you’re looking for a vegan spot that tastes even more delicious than a non-vegan restaurant then this is it! As someone that eats meat, I’ve visited the restaurant multiple times and the food slaps each and every time - I promise you won’t miss the meat on your plate or in this case your box. It’s delicious, affordable and the service is great too!

The food here is beyond AMAZING. It makes turning vegan easier. BUT I must say the attitude of the cashier doesn't match the greatness of the food. I just started going there and the few times I've came She has not welcoming. Her attitude isn't good When you come in to spend your money somewhere. But the food is so good there i hope their customer service begin to match their food.

I do not live near Richmond Hills, but find a good excuse to take a pilgrimage west. What's great about this place is meat eaters and non meat eaters can both be satisfied here. Their food is familiar enough for everyone. From Asian noodles, to rice and beans, veggie choices to even mac and cheese. The protein choices simulate meat. There is even a mock chicken drumstick variety. I like the curry chicken. The only thing that keeps me from eating in more often is the price. My large meal came with three sides and two proteins. That takeaway container was $20. I have a persistent sweet tooth so I always get cake when I go. For my fellow purveyors of sugary snacks, please be aware that the cakes probably aren't a texture that you are used to. These cakes are very dense. They're not light and fluffy like the egg contained cousins. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't make it bad. They're just not light and airy. They are more heavy. I suggest letting them warm up a little bit to room temperature and not eating them cold from the refrigerator. That is when they are the hardest. Awesome when knockimg it down with a nice warm drink like tea or coffee. Please keep in mind those looking for date night, you will be eating this in your car as they do not have a dining area. This is a straight walkthrough to pick your choices buffet style and a quick turnaround out the door. All in all this is a great variety of tasty morsels

I've been to Veggie Castle plenty of times and it's honestly amazing soul/caribbean-style vegan food. If you sometimes crave familiar flavors from previous non-vegan days, you should give it a try. The vegan fish, bbq chick'n legs, kale, mac & cheese, ginger chik'n, and BBQ jackfruit sandwiches are some of my favorites that I've tried.
